  • Notice of Moving Offices

Due to continuing space and safety concerns, the Treasurer’s office and the Commissioner of Revenue will move to the Village Green. This move will take place after the close of the current tax season to make things less confusing for the public. Those of you who visit the courthouse frequently know that it can become very crowded on court days, especially family court days. This move will create more space and privacy for families and attorneys dealing with very sensitive issues. And will provide greater flexibility if needed for important but extended cases. The county communicated this change more than 90 days in advance to the Commissioner and Treasurer to allow the staff of these offices the ability to move in an orderly fashion and make the new space their own. Both offices will be closed for three days, December 7th, 8th, and 9th to facilitate the move. The new space should be more energy efficient and has excellent ADA parking available.
