​The Mission of the Economic Development Authority of Floyd County, Virginia:
The EDA works to capitalize on Floyd County’s strengths to expand and diversify the local economy and promotes growth through start-ups, expansion, and attraction of businesses that will provide additional opportunities for residents and increase the county’s tax base. We facilitate constructive dialog around infrastructure, talent, and housing.
Regular Scheduled Meetings are held every 4th Monday at 6:00 P.M. in the Floyd Innovation Center, 158 Pioneer Way, Floyd, VA 24091. Additionally, the Authority is on call to consider any issues requiring its attention, including businesses interested in locating in the Floyd Regional Commerce Center.

The Floyd Innovation Center
The Innovation Center is a multi-tenant business center providing leasable office and working spaces to niche, technology-based businesses. The Center also memberships available for entrepreneurs who occasionally need conference room space. Click the image to see much more information. D. [Lot 8] This 3.8-acre lot is near the front entrance of the business park on Commerce Center Drive. It is pre-graded with complete development plans, including bid documents for a 20,000 SF building, expandable to 40,000 SF with 75+ parking spaces and a small solar PV array. Floyd Regional Commerce Center
The Commerce Center is a business park that provides sites (1 to 51 acres) and spaces (offices to industrial bays). The park features a 65-acre greenway with walking trails. All sites are served by fiber, public water, and sewer, and benefit from a nearby electric substation providing redundant electrical feeds. Click the image to see much more information.
