The Floyd County Planning Commission will hold a work session on Tuesday, September 20, 2022, to begin discussion of proposed changes to the Floyd County Subdivision Ordinance.

Work Session to begin at 4:00 p.m.

Regularly Scheduled Meeting to begin at 6:00 p.m.

Plaster Repair and Related Services Request for Proposal (RFP)

Floyd County is obtaining bids for plaster repair at the Floyd County Court House, located at 100 East Main Street, Floyd VA. 24091.

The job will consist of repairing damage from water, mostly around windows and some doorways.

All work shall be done during hours of 8:AM – 4:30 PM. Accommodations will be made around the operation of the courts and the secured areas of the Sheriff’s offices.

Attached to this email you will find the estimated measurements of the plaster repairs along with corresponding locations.

All sealed bids will be due by a deadline of 4:00 p.m. on September 22, 2022. Bids need to be submitted at the Floyd County Administration office, located at 120 West Oxford Street, Floyd VA 24091.

All biding contractors must supply a copy of their contractor’s license, proof of insurance, along with their proposed bidding contract. Building permit will not be required, and all permit fees will be waived.

Floyd County reserves the right to reject all bids and shall negotiate fees in accordance with funding availability. Floyd County is an equal opportunity employer.
