Proposed Repeal and Replacement of the Floyd County Subdivision Ordinance

On October 17, 2023, the Floyd County Planning Commission held a public hearing to receive comments on the Proposed Repeal and Replacement of the Floyd County Subdivision Ordinance. The Planning Commission voted to recommend the proposed ordinance to the Board of Supervisors for their consideration.

The Board of Supervisors will receive a presentation on this recommended ordinance at their meeting on November 16, 2023. Sometime after that date the Board will schedule and advertise a special public hearing and will review and make changes to the proposal as they deem appropriate.
